50 year old bottles of Glenfiddich and Macallan on Auction

 

Are you ready to pay anything between INR 1.2 million – 1.4 million for a bottle of whisky ?, if yes, then go ahead bid online on Bonhams or probably just monitor the auction process.   Bonhams is scheduled to auction 50 year old bottles of Glenfiddich and Macallan 18th June in Edinburgh, for collectors, even the bottles look like a collectible item.

Under auction will be some of the finest rare whiskies from Glenfiddich and Macallan.

Cask numbers 844, 845 and 846 filled on 17th July 1937 and casks 1044, 1046, 1047 and 1048 filled on 14th December 1939, vatted for over one year, bottled 26th July 1991. Distilled and bottled by William Grant & Sons, The Glenfiddich Distillery. Bottle number “5”. In wooden presentation case accompanied by certificate. Good label. 70 cl. Single malt, 43% volume.
