Cafe Review – Mogli’s Coffee, when small is beautiful

Have your ever stumbled upon a cafe by just getting attracted to its logo and name, I am sure you would have, it happened with me over the weekend and that had  to be my place for coffee , meet Mogli’s Coffee.

Don’t judge me with this review because personal interest have heavily influenced me so its not neutral, I just simply loved the fact that they played MTV Coke Studio channel and that was it :-).  I also look at the intent and not the current situation, people work hard, learn and achieve desired results hence not so critical.

A very small outlet on the 2nd floor of DT City Center mall but stands out clearly with the presentation.  People at outlet were extremely friendly, you could feel it, staff was trying to give their best and I literally had to make him comfortable, you are doing good.

Ambience: Not the best but with space and location constraint they have certainly done a good job. Constant traffic of people will be annoying specially if you are sitting on the front table, I like my coffee with an element of calmness in  the surroundings. Probably I felt it that way, people sitting at the back must have been experienced it better.

Outlet was decked as per the coffee lovers choice, books and an entire wall being painted with thoughtful graffiti, I loved it.  Music,  I said, was the real deal, very balanced sound and choice of music was awesome and they have full HD screen as well with lyrics. I cant recall lyrics, this was blessing in disguise.

Customer Centricity:  Not world class but I loved the intent to service customer, the person standing on the billing and other staff appeared friendly and you can sense it. Probably need to train staff to educate about your coffee’s more convincingly.

Food & Beverages:  I would consider it good, given the price offered. Loved the fact that packaged products being sold off the counter at MRP, so no rude socks.  I opted for regular cappuccino, french fries for my son and my wife opted for Bhayankar Brownie Coffee, she got attracted with the name. Nothing unique with the taste but good,  my wife though loved Bhayankar Brownie Coffee coffee and specially the way it was served. Their bottle serve is attractive and I was tempted to take back home, they would charge Rs 10 for it and I decided to save Rs 10/-, feeling rich. I think if I would told them about this positive review, would have received as gift :-).

Bhayankar Brownie Coffee

Value for Money: Definitely yes, all products were priced as we would expect, no surprises at all. A cappuccino priced under Rs 100/- is always a winner for me.
