Whether I am hungry or not, Bengali Cuisine would always attract me, my hunger is inversely proportional to Bengali cuisine, whatever 🙂
I stumbled upon Abar Khabo (Bengali Cuisine) while enjoying my coffee in DLF Mega Mall food court and a small stroll took me be there.
The person standing on the counter got me involved and I started looking at the menu one by one. It was 4 PM and with no appetite for lunch, I was recommended, Pomfret Bhaja, gladly accepted the offering.
Ambiance: NA, since it’s inside a food court/mall
Food & Beverages: Multiple options to try Bengali Cuisine, was very impressed with lunch and dinner variety. In all likely will visit again to try Fish & Mutton Curry. I loved Pomfret Bhaja, the flavor was good but was disappointed with the way it was served, not worth the food cost. The presentation is critical for anyone who enjoys food and not just fills his tummy.
Customer Centricity: I was very impressed with the manager, he was attentive and understood me as a customer, time taken to cook was as per the timeline. Once I was done with food, the manager rushed to seek feedback and offered us Bengali paan, who doesn’t wants freebie 🙂
Value for Money: I found it little high, for the same price I can have better service and probably better food as well.
Infrastructure, Parking & Driveway: NA, since it’s inside a food court/mall
