The limited-edition packaging design of Diageo’s iconic Scotch whisky, Johnnie Walker Black Label, was recently launched in India in association with designer duo Shantanu and Nikhil.
Priced at R3,760 (Delhi price) and the fact that there are a limited number of 66,000 bottles for India make it a truly unique collectible and gifting option. The bottle design is a tribute to the lasting appeal of the liquid and the era in which it was established as a global icon.
The 1930s Art Deco movement was a time of innovation and imagination, a time when Hollywood glamour and iconic film stars were born. It is also a time when luxury and indulgence came to the forefront. It was in this decade that John Walker & Sons was awarded the Royal Warrant by King George V, a true testament of the brand’s commitment to progress and quality.
Now, 80 years since the awarding of the Royal Warrant, this stunning limited edition design pays tribute to that iconic era. The geometric-linear styling of the bottle and the trademark JOHNNIE WALKER label has been adapted with film strip detailing, inspired by the glorious era.
The new limited edition JOHNNIE WALKER® BLACK LABEL® is now available in Mumbai, Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Karnataka and West Bengal.
