I am a big fan of VAT 69 from early years of whiskey drinking, of course, it was only when I crossed my legal age of drinking. One and off, would go back to old memories and savor in my old favorites, VAT 69 celebration edition over the counter got my attention back. I must confess, I got more attracted to the packaging rather than the drink, wrapped up in a golden yellow box, something special was inside.

VAT 69 Celebration Edition Blended Scotch Whisky is distilled and matured in Scotland and comes in its distinctive style, The Talbot Hound bottle, and a special flip packaging. If I have to true, the packaging has changed, the whiskey remains the same, uniqueness hasn’t been claimed by distiller as well.
Whisky Review - VAT 69 Celebration Edition, Blended Scotch Whisky
Color: Dark amber color, typically made up from malt extract
Nose: Strong fruity citric, no distinctive flavor you can pick
Palate: Very fruity with a strong presence of malt makes it citric, when you swirl, it gives you that blended whisky flavor, a strong combination of multiple grains
Finish: Not very smooth, you can feel it when its going down your throat, don’t forget to add some water
